As we continue on our Diebold 2.0 transformation journey, I am excited to introduce new talent management tools for our global employee population. This year, we will be moving from SuccessFactors, currently known as COMPASS, to OracleTalent and OracleLearn systems.
What is changing?
The online tools used to manage all global employees’ future performance goals and reviews, talent reviews, succession planning, employee profiles and the learning management system (training) are changing to OracleTalent and OracleLearn.
This toolset will be rolled out at once to all global employees. You should currently be completing your 2015 performance reviews in COMPASS. You will enter 2016 goals in the new Oracle system when it’s live, which is scheduled for March 2016.
What are the benefits?
• Learning content will be web-based and mobile-friendly
• Adds talent review functionality in the system
• Allows for easier identification of internal talent
• Supports our Back Office Transformation
o Improves the learning interface for employees
o Increases the integrity of our HR data
o Secures the content server and reduces e-learning issues
o Allows for better administration of non-employee users
o Improves the integration process and consistency of HR information
• Reduces costs significantly (approximately $600,000 over a 4-year period)
What do you need to do?
• Complete your 2015 performance reviews in COMPASS
• Establish 2016 goals with your manager
• Enter 2016 goals in the new system, OracleTalent, when the system goes live in March 2016
For now, please continue to use COMPASS for all learning requirements as you do today. Additional communications with tool training, job aids, definitions, FAQs and guidelines will be provided closer to the go-live date.
