Landfill leachate, generally can be defined as a dark color liquid with a strong smell generated from excess water, percolates with the heterogeneous mixture of organic and inorganic loads deposited within the waste layers in the landfill [5]. This polluted liquid contains high concentration of nitrogen compounds, salts, heavy metal and various types of organic compounds which contaminates the surface water and groundwater as it can seep into soil and the subsoil [6].
