Discussion
The results of the study revealed that more than half
of the samples had moderate perceived social isolation.
This can in part be explained because some of them were
supported by their children in terms of needed resources,
especially money although their children did not live with
them. Moreover, the samples also received psychological
and emotional support from the persons who were close
to them. They still had relatives and friends / neighbors.
So, they might not feel very lonely. Half of the samples
