A part from its poor antioxidant activity, the studied essential oils extracts from E. globulus fruit have exhibited an interesting antibacterial activity against pathogenic and spoilage microorganisms. The results showed the sensitivity of all strains to essential oils extracts from E. globulus fruit especially S. aureus and P. aerugenosa, which are known for their resistance to the antibiotics. Thus, the high yield and the results of antibacterial activity found for the studied essential oils extracts from E. globulus fruit made them a good candidates for their use in pharmaceutical and food industries.
