The fall injuries team has an orthopaedic physician who is the Operations Manager and a nurse who is the Process Manager. The physician-Operations Manager is responsible for personnel, resources, and operations, while the nurse-Process Manager (described as the Fiery Spirit) is responsible for the process activities and development. Although the nurseProcess Manager has a different educational background than the physician-Operations Manager has, respondents identify her, because of her talent, as the driving force for change. She coordinates the process activities and tries to motivate the team. However, when there was a temporary change in the Process Manager position, the process work ceased.
