nit 10- The Proust Questionnaire (Page 100)
· Interview one member of your family or a very close friend with the questions in the reading
· DO NOT ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOURSELF!!! This assignment is to help you practice interviewing a person that is very special to you!!!
· Name of interviewee and interviewee’s age (and possible photo) on the top of page
· Answers to questions must be at least one to two sentences long
· Answers MUST BE WRITTEN IN COMPLETE SENTENCES (you will lose marks if you write short one, two or three word answers. For example ‘being dishonest’ or ‘going to Chiang Mai’ ARE NOT COMPLETE SENTENCES. However, if you answer ‘Wipawee’s (change to the name of the person you are interviewing) favorite holiday destination is Chiang Rai because it is a very relaxing place to visit’ will give you full marks for that question.
· If the person you interview is Thai you can interview them in Thai (but it would be more interesting if you interviewed someone from a different country and also a good chance to practice you English outside of the classroom) but if the person you interview is in Thai, you will obviously need to change your questions and answers into English (yes this is slightly challenging but I know you can do this)
· YOU MAY INTERVIEW YOUR TEACHER HOWEVER FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE. ONLY THREE STUDENTS PER CLASS MAY INTERVIEW ME!!!
Marking:
· Answering all questions
· At least a one sentence answer for all questions (some answers will require more than a one sentence answer)
· That the person is real (if you have only ‘made up’ this person, only half marks for an attempt)
· Proper layout (if not properly laid out, only half marks)
· Full marks: 5%
· Attempt: 3%
· Late: 0 (must write ‘L’ on the top of the page)
