Nail psoriasis
Pitting, onycholysis, and translucent orange discolouration
of the nail bed are common signs in psoriasis and nail
damage may proceed to destruction and crumbling of the
nail plate (DermNet NZ, 2013). Sometimes, the nail plate
and finger/toe tips are affected by a pustular eruption that
leads to a condition known as Acrodermatitis continua of
Hallopeau (Figure 3) (Ip, 2014).
