My adventure to Railey beach.
No need for an alarm in Tonsai. When the sun rises you also wake up whether you like it or not. Literally drenched in sweat. It's dripping off your face.
Sooo there is no ATM whatsoever on Tonsai beach.
Eventually I was faced with the decision of buying water and breakfast or a long tail boat ride to the ATM on Railey beach.
I ended up eating of course and did the climb through the jungle and a bit of a trek through some gnarly tide coming in fast and hard.
Ropes, climbing, waves knocking me all over da place and 45 degree weather kinda shit. I swear the ocean is warmer then not being in it. How my cell phone and Kobu are working right now with all that water I do not know.
I arrive and the first machine I put my card in I ended up waiting 10 whole minutes of me close to a heart attack to finally spit my card out and pretty much say it's not working today. (At this point I literally have 10baht in cash to my name and have to pay rent and such)
I cant even fathom my panic if my card never came out. All I could think was, is this the only ATM here!?
Buuut found another one and everything is all good.
