Saizo’s listed as the “cool and sadistic” ninja, which is fairly fitting. His personality is cold and a bit standoffish but he’s also more than a bit tsundere. At the beginning, he views your character as a nuisance (he even compares you to Sasuke) and he’s constantly threatening to do one thing or another to your character. That doesn’t stop him from looking out for you but his methods can be a bit…extreme. As time goes on, however, he slowly warms up to your character and he has these little moments where he’ll reach out to you. It’s pretty cute.
Saizo was an interesting character, in terms of your relationship. He’s a bit brash and cold but he’ll just soften abruptly, which was just adorable. I also like how your character stands up for herself and takes part in the battles as well, as if she’s really Saizo’s partner rather than his princess baggage. (In a way, though, he’s eerily similar to Eduardo—he even wants to take you to visit his mom’s grave. Déjà vu, anyone?)
Saizo’s Main Route
Saizo’s main route story focuses on your travels together as you both strive for the equality and survival of the ninjas. Along the way, Saizo takes your character under his wing to train you to become a ninja—and makes you his personal pillow at night. Yup.
* Help out
* Turn away
* Just stay put
* Yeah, but…
* I understand
* Hug him too
* Don’t worry!
* Put on a brave front
* We’re not done yet!
* I don’t want you to get injured!
* I’ll fight too!
* Hold his hand
* … … …
* Nobody will die
* Wait!
* It’s everyone’s combined efforts
* Hug him
* I dunno…
* You can’t!
* Let’s escape!
* Look for something
* Me first!
* Deny it
* No!
* Okay.
* Jump out!
Female Ninja Training:
Saizo’s FMT takes you back to what really happened when you and Saizo were training. And it’s more than a bit steamy.
* Nothing.
On the Road to Happiness:
In ORH, you and Saizo head back to Koga, where the women of the village begin swarming him. He’s so busy between his duties and the women that he doesn’t seem to have time for you anymore and you wonder if he’s forgotten about you.
* This won’t do

* I see…
Sweet Ceremony:
Saizo’s SC deals with the days leading up to your wedding with Saizo, who’s still busy as ever (poor guy). Goemon seems to have decided to make one last ditch at you, which creates conflict between yourself, Saizo and Goemon.
* I won’t.
Mission Adorable 2:
Saizo’s MA 2 has both you and Saizo in disguise as a monk and apprentice again—and, once again, you manage to make a mess of things. You feel like you’re just a burden to Saizo but it’s up to both of you to make this mission work.
* Eek!
Sweet Honeymoon:
Saizo leaves Koga, where you’ve both been living since your wedding, to go to Kai on Munenori’s request to investigate a group of female ninja. He takes you along with him, saying that it can be your honeymoon and that you should prove useful. However, Saizo suddenly begins flirting with a waitress and even pounces on her…!
* You’ll start your new life.
Romantic Festival:
You’re chosen to be a shrine priestess at a big festival, where you have to perform a dance. Unfortunately, you end up slipping on stage in front of everyone, embarrassing both yourself and Saizo…!
* I won’t try to be a priestess again…
Enchanted Princess:
You don’t feel you’re good enough for Saizo so you have him train you in ninjutsu so you can become stronger. However, you end up misusing a technique that causes you to lose your voice completely…
* Why is that?
Temptation Love:
You and Saizo are supposed to head out to Fuma to meet with the Fuma elder but you end up getting sick and stay behind. Kotaro looks after you while Saizo’s gone and he offers to comfort you when you suddenly feel lonely…
* It’s alright.
