(pH = 10) conditions. The last set of oven tests was aimed at evaluating
the potentially oxidizing influences of magnesium in the
beverage can alloys. Fig. 8 outlines the experimental procedure.
Each test was replicated to detect possible errors due to experimental
operation and material variations, and to obtain reproducible
results.
