Dear partner,
You have been audited in 2013 by the company SGS. Now, with the audit report and your Corrective Action Plan, you should have a clear mindset on how to handle remediations.
With this email I want to share with you the ranking based on LVMH criterias and make a point of situation on the progress on your Corrective action plan, as many actions were indicated to be completed end of 2013.
As I explained earlier in 2013, LVMH is following very closely these social audits and has been lauching several actions throughout the year to monitor and follow audits for all the brands. The aim is to start a communication campaign on social responsibility for all the Maisons.
--> We have received tools to analyse results and rank suppliers according to a harmonised LVMH rating, since all Maisons have different ways of auditing.
Your audit results have been shared with other LVMH brands and are now accessible for consultation within LVMH. Re-audits results and improvements will also be shared.
Please find enclosed your ranking based on LVMH ratings for 2013 :
Cosmo is 5th out of 8, as the "7th day of rest violations" are considered to be a major violation that requires significant improvement --> We do understand that there are production constraints but we expect you to mitigate such non-conformities.
SGS will contact you in the months to come to set up a date for a follow-up audit during 2014. The follow-up audit will concentrate on remediations and do not constitute a complete re-audit, thus duration is shorter.
We will also review all these subjects during my visit in April.
In the meatime, waiting for your update on remediations based on the Corrective Action Plan list, and I remain at your disposal for any questions,
With my best regards,
