Taiwan’s Formosa Chemicals to shut its No.3 styrene plant
According to market sources, Taiwan’s Formosa Chemicals is planning to shut its No.3 styrene plant in September for a turnaround. The plant is expected to remain offline for around a month.
The No.3 plant is able to produce 600,000 tons/year. The company’s No.1 and No.2 plants, meanwhile, have production capacities of 250,000 tons/year and 350,000 tons/year, respectively.
