4. Conclusion
An in complete solid solution of Cu(75wt%) 316SS has been
formed by ball milling even after 70 hof milling.The crystallite 
size ofthe solid solution of Cu obtained after 70 hof milling are
28.5 nm. Bcc Fe has been precipitated out from the solid solution
of Cu after annealing at 350 °C. Soft ferro magnetic behavior of the
alloy has been achieved after ball milling and annealing.
Micromechanical properties ofthe microstruc tures formedby
consolidation oftheballmilledCu(75wt%)316SSpowderblend
has beenexaminedasthefunctionofannealingtemperature.
Workhardeningofthesampleshasbeenassessedintermsof H/E
and recoveryindexparameterwhichiscorroboratedbyindenta-
tion profile geometry.Comparisonoftheresultsforthecon-
solidatedandannealedCu(75wt%)316SSsampleswiththeball
milled samples,hasestablishedappreciableworkhardeningre-
sponse oftheformerwhichcomprisesof finelydispersedpre-
cipitatednanocrystallinebccFewithinCumatrix.
