The schematic diagram of the new ISMT is shown in Fig. 1. The
system includes two circulation loops: a refrigeration loop and a
thermosyphon loop. A three-fluid heat exchanger is used to connect
the two loops. It has three flow channels, for the fluid of the
refrigeration loop, the fluid of thermosyphon loop and outdoor air
respectively. The utilization of the three-fluid heat exchanger in
this system realizes the integration of mechanical refrigeration and
thermosyphon loop and achieves the simultaneous work of them.
Meanwhile, it avoids the reliability risk brought by the use of mode
switching valves.
