External Logistics (Inbound component supply) is the delivery between Toyota and their suppliers. The delivery system is used by Toyota has 2 types. The first is the Direct Delivery by supplier. It is the way that supplier deliver the product direct to Toyota. The second is Milk-Run system which is the main portion in logistics cost of Toyota. For the import component supply is called JSP&MSP. It stands for Japan source parts and multiple source parts which are the import parts from the other countries.
Internal Logistics (Factory supply) is the assembly process. It is the assembly logistic delivery when the truck arrives to the terminal. All the auto parts are sent to each process as the following; welding logistic delivery, line-side delivery, and shop-to-shop delivery.
External Logistics (Outbound vehicle supply) is the step that delivers the product after assembly to dealer or other countries. It consists of spare part delivery, vehicle delivery, and export part delivery.
