(a) calculate humidity ratio values and mass flow rates through mass balance equations,
(b) calculate energy inputs and outputs, and heat losses from the dryer through energy balance equations,
(c) calculate the energy efficiency,
(d) calculate exergy input, output and destruction values and thermal exergy losses through entropy and exergy balance
equations,
(e) calculate the exergy efficiency, and
(f) use steam tables, the psychrometric chart and/or tables, and the reference/dead state properties accordingly.
