The SHE Committee shall have powers and duties as follows:
1. Hold the committee meeting at least once a month.
2. Survey occupational safety, health and working environment at least once a month.
3. Report and make suggestions to employer on remedial measures, guidelines and plans for continual improvement in order to comply with laws on occupational safety, health and working environment or safety measures and to maintain safety of employees, contractors and visitors.
4. Promote and support activities for occupational safety, health and working environment.
5. Set up and propose occupational safety regulations and measures to the employer.
6. Develop and propose policies, annual work plans, projects or activities regarding occupational safety, health and working environment and safety outside the workplace to the employer, in order to prevent and reduce accidents, hazards and illness resulting from work or unsafe working conditions.
7. Set up and propose projects and training programs on occupational safety, health and environment as well as on roles and responsibilities of employees, foremen, the executives, the employer and the personnel at every level.
8. Set up system to report unsafe and working condition, ensure all employees responsibility and must be performed.
9. Follow up the progress of work proposed to the employer.
10. Annual report to the employer, identifying obstacles and suggestions to everyone on the function of the committee.
11. Evaluate program and results of safety program in workplace.
12. Carry out tasks in occupational safety, health and working environment management as assigned.
