Cold Open:
We see Morgan at his camp, which is close by.
Opening Credits:
Rick wakes up from being knocked out and sees Lori in the corner. He talks to her and Carl sees the whole thing. He thinks his dad is crazy.
Daryl and Aaron continue to track the Wolves. They successfully help a girl escape from the camp and convince her to go back to Alexandria with them.
Carol threatens Pete. Maggie pleads Rick's case to Deanna, who decides to hold a forum that night to decide Rick's fate.
At Daryl and Aaron's camp the girl tries to steal the car while they sleep and Daryl attempts to talk her down, only to get stabbed. She drives off, leaving Aaron with a profusely bleeding Daryl. As Aaron is struggling to save Daryl's life, Morgan arrives.
At the forum the Alexandrians ultimately decide not to kick Rick out, but instead keep a close eye on him and take away his gun. They also decide to separate Pete and his family. After, Maggie confronts Gabriel about what he said and tells him how full of shit he is. Pete swears he will end Rick.
Morgan treats Daryl's wounds by cleaning it and pouring hot wax to seal it. He tells them it should heal in a matter of weeks. The three of them decide to head back to the Safe-Zone together. Morgan tells them he's trying to find a friend, Rick Grimes.
The next day, Pete attempts to murder Rick in broad daylight. It looks as though he is going to succeed, but Deanna's husband tries to wrestle the knife away. He ends up getting his throat cut in the process. Carol draws her concealed gun on Pete, who drops the knife. Deanna is devastated at her husband's sudden death and shocked at how quickly Carol, the wolf in sheep's clothing, went from 0 to 60. She gives Carol the okay to pull the trigger, which she does without hesitation. Rick consoles Jessie.
Gabriel cannot believe he just saw Deanna condone an execution and heads outside the walls to try to escape the world. Eventually, he sees an immobile walker on the ground and stabs it, hoping to gain some sort of insight. He looks up to the sky but there is no response. When he finally looks back down to earth he sees Morgan, Aaron and Daryl approaching.
Rick and Morgan reunite and Rick thinks he's going crazy. Aaron warns the others about the Wolves, who are headed towards the community. Deanna is unsure of what to do and Maggie tells her that this is the reason why she let the group into Alexandria and to listen to what Rick has to say. Rick forms a game plan to fight back, but Deanna insists on locking those who are unable or unwilling to fight in a room together for their protection, similar to the Terminus boxcar. Rick and Michonne interact for the first time since she knocked him out. Michonne apologizes for how hard she hit him. He says he must have looked pretty crazy and doesn't blame her. He hands her a gun and they wait an impending attack.
Night arrives and so do the Wolves. They head for the gate, where Rick meets them, completely alone.
"Little pigs, little pigs let me in."
The leader tells Rick to let them in or they will force their way in. Rick attempts to be diplomatic and dissuade them off by telling them that Alexandria will fight back if they try. The leader is amused at this, and lists off what happened to places that tried to fight back, which includes a settlement in Richmond, Virginia. Glenn realizes these are the people who took out Noah's family. A sniper laser appears on Rick, and a shot is fired... which is revealed to have been by Sasha. Rick is unscathed.
Rick: "Looks like my sniper got yours."
Rick draws his gun and blows the leader away. Sasha takes out a shit ton of people in the sniper perch and the Wolves retreat. Rick convinces the rest to chase after the rest and hunt them down. Nobody objects this time. However, after the group heads out after the survivors, several other sneak inside by climbing the struts. The Wolves finds their way to the safehouse and open the door to reveal the terrified Alexandrians.
In the woods, Nicholas approaches Glenn from behind with a gun. He shoots him in the shoulder in an attempt to kill him. Glenn, in agony, shoots Nicholas in the leg. He takes the J Gun and holds it to Nick's head, but ultimately doesn't shoot him.
After running into a horde of walkers, the group is forced to give up the chase and return to Alexandria. Glenn is seen helping Nicholas back to the safe zone.
They return to let the non-fighters out but discover upon opening the room that all the "sheep" have been slaughtered. The season ends with this revelation.
Take this with a grain of salt, but it sounds legit to me. Let me know what you think.
