The study sample consisted of 102 children and adolescents
ages 11–18 years with JPFS and their parents (primarily
mothers) from a larger sample of patients who were
screened for participation in a clinical trial of
cognitive-behavioral treatment for JPFS. Inclusion and
exclusion criteria for the study, as well as a description
of psychiatric diagnoses in a subset of this sample
(N¼76) have been previously published (Kashikar-Zuck
et al., 2008b).
