Pig farming is one among 130 enterprises endangering to health according to Public Health Act 1992. The
survey, by Department of Health in 1991, showed that the nuisance complaints due to pig farming were
about 94% of the total farms
The major nuisance problems arising from pig farming Were odor, manure, wastewater, chemical
use and fly breeding source. These problems caused unpleasant conditions for the people who
lived nearby the farm
