Most of the power converters are being operated in a closedloop system in order to maintain expected voltage and currents at different nodes. The control system also protects the converter from any potential overload or short circuit. Therefore, the operating condition of a power converter is affected by any variation in components’ electrical parameters, input/output loading, and ambient conditions. Any characteristic variation in one component will simultaneously affect the operating condition and the corresponding thermal stress. This may accelerate the aging process of that component and the remaining components of the converter
