Specifically, corals grown under a blue irradiance of 256 μmol m−2 s−1 (blue 256)
showed a significantly higher zooxanthellae density compared to those cultured under red light at the same irradiance
There was also a positive trend for the effect of blue irradiance on zooxanthellae density, with a potentially higher zooxanthellae density under blue light at an irradiance of 256 μmol m−2 s−1
