Purpose : To assure that the standard of requisition is set up effectively regarding :
1. Unfilled position processing standards.
2. Recruitment planning / personnel requisition consistency.
3. Vacancy priorities for Hotel Staff
Procedure:
1. The Division Director Shall :
1.1 Complete the Personnel Requisition form with all the required details of an unfilled position.
1.2 Relate the form to the approved recruitment planning procedure.
1.3 Send the form to the Human Resource Manager.
2. Following a staff resignation :
2.1 Any replacement within the approved Personnel Requisition guide budget shall be processed immediately.
2.2 Any transfer shall get the total agreement from the Division Head concerned.
2.3 Any promotion shall get the signed approval from the General Manager.
3. The Human Resources Manager shall check all details and decide whether the requisition is feasible and in line with the Personnel Requisition guide budget.
4. All Personnel requisitions shall be approved by the General Manager before entering the next stage.
5. The Documents required are as follows :
5.1 Personnel Requisition form.
5.2 Promotion / Transfer form.

The personnel requisition form is to be completed by Department Head who wishes to hire new staff or
replace the staff who resigns. Details about the job, the person who will fit the job, as well as
qualifications of the person who will fit the job, other special requirements, etc., have to be clearly
written. This will help speeding up the selection process. One form is for one available position.
