In the described PAR, although this was not an intervention of conflict mediation in the more classic sense (Besemer, 2007; Bush and Folger, 2005), we certainly had to perform a constant and strong mediating function between the involved parties at different organizational levels given the presence of conflictual dynamics between them. Therefore, we acted as “bridge builders” and facilitators of the encounter between the different subjects. Navigating and managing these dynamics was essential to work on service delivery and improvement.
