Buret Calibration.
Calibrating a buret is similar to the procedure for a pipet. Except that several volumes will be delivered. The internal bore of the buret is not perfectly cylindrical, and it will be a bi “wavy,” so the actual volume delivered will vary both plus and minus from the nominal volumes marked on the buret , as increased volumes are delivered. You will ascertain the volume at 20% full-volume increments by filling the buret each time and then delivering the nominal volume into a dry flask.
