Considering the coplanarity of coordinated COO group as well
as Pd atom with pyridine ring, one may conclude that the five
membered ring PdO1C1C2N1 is almost planar too. This can be further
confirmed by the evaluation of torsion angles C1–C2–N1–Pd
and C2–C1–O1–Pd, being 1.0(3) and 3.8(3), respectively. It is
also noted that the rotation of uncoordinated COO group about
C7–C6 bond imposes O3 atom to get close to H5b and, therefore,
an intramolecular H-bonding results.
