The results obtained in terms of fraction of dead leaves indicate that the highest fraction of dead leaves (0.33) was observed for Dudruchi, Betichikon and D-6766 (Fig. 4).
These three genotypes had also amongst the highest levels of the other variables measured in the present study.
The mechanisms expressed by a higher fraction of dead leaves may therefore be associated with the reported level of disease observed for these three genotypes.
No fraction of dead leaves was observed in MTU1010, Te-Qing and Swarna, and lower fraction of dead leaves was observed in Tetep, D-256, Sarju-52 and Sambha Mashuri.
