The main objective of front office staff training is to impress guests and creating guests satisfaction. Guest satisfaction is the key result area for successful service operation especially a hotel. My duties were receptionist in front desk. I ask for guest’s name, passport and reservation code. I check the guest’s details to be matched with registration card prepared and keep the passport. I confirm the room type, the date of departure and special request, if any. Inquiring of payment method desired. Have guest sign the registration card prepared prior to arrival. Issue room key card. I give out general information such as the place and time breakfast is served.
