1.2.2. Subjective norms and social pressures
Subjective norms refer to the beliefs of important others about performing a specific action (Fishbein & Ajzen, 1975). This factor was not included in the original formulation of the TAM but has been added to expanded versions (e.g., Venkatesh & Davis, 2000). It may be especially important to consider with communication technologies, as these technologies depend on the actions of two or more individuals.
