For As-POD activity assay, two grams of fruit tissues were
treated with liquid nitrogen, pulverized and extracted in 10 mL of
50 mmol L1 sodium phosphate buffer (pH 7.0). The crude enzyme
extract was obtained by centrifugation at 12,000
g for 15 min
