Caring for individuals with dementia is a challenging endeavor, and living with dementia is infinitely more challenging. Much has been written about the negative aspects of AD and related dementias, but we have also heard from those who have this disease that it is possible to maintain a sense of hope, resilience, and joy. That's all you can do. You have to take the good with the bad.
