Regarding our poetry test tomorrow,
The test starts at 8 a.m. and finishes at 10 a.m., in our regular class room 608.
Please come early and have all the seats arranged for the test. Make five rows from the front to the back of the room, each row has 11 seats. the last 9 seats make up the sixth row (which is required to be on the window side of the room.
Seating, you are required to sit according to your student ID order, starting the first one from the first seat in the first row from the corridor side.
You are NOT allowed to bring a dictionary to the test, but three dictionaries will be provided in the test room. Note that you should only use it when necessary.
You are advised to revise the poem 'Daffodils' by William Wordsworth that we have studied in class as this is for the first part of the test. Read well the handout on poetry elements on figures of speech like simile, metaphor, personification, theme, and symbol, What are they and how are they used? You will need to apply your understanding about them to your answering the questions.
