ABSTRACT
This research has the following objectives; 1) to develop the sciences learning achievement on Atmosphere more than the criteria of 75 percent at threshold. And 2) to decrease the students behavior on talking in classroom. The samples in this study were 32 Mattayomsuksa 1/2 students from Thakhonyangpittayakhom School, enrolling in the second semester of the academic year 2014. The purposive sampling method was used to select the sample. The target group was 5 Mattayomsuksa 1/2 students. The research instruments were: 1) 8 lesson plans of 5e's of inquiry approach (12 hours). And 2) the 20 items of 4 multiple choice of achievement test in the topic of Atmosphere. And 3) behavior observation and the record form of the students behavior on talking in classroom .
The research found that:
1. The student’s learning achievement scores after learned by the 5E's of Inquiry method had increased. There were 24 students who got higher score than the criterion score set at 75, representing 75.00 percent of all students.
2) The students behavior on talking in classroom of 5 target group had changed in the positive way.
In conclusion, the science learning activities on Atmosphere for the Mattayomsuksa 1/2 students by the 5E's of Inquiry approach is the learning activity which enhance the student’s science learning achievement.
