observed in Section 4.1.3 (resistant layer and sea-level rise) can be
noted, with a rising and steepening of the cliff toe and an increase in
the non-dimensional retreat rate (Fig. 11b) with sea-level rise. The
presence of the anomalous layer remained apparent in the shore platform
geomorphology even following inundation.
