EG, o-EG and i-MG was carried out and shown in the Fig. 2. It can
be observed from the respective Figure that ‘O’ element was there
for the o-EG, which proves the presence of different ‘O’ containing
groups on the surface of o-EG. The presence of ‘O’ and ‘N’ elements
in the EDX spectra of i-MG indicated the isocyanate modification of
o-EG.
4.3. WAXD analysis
Fig. 3a shows the X-ray diffraction patterns of natural graphite
powder (NG), o-EG and isocyanate modified graphite (i-MG)
sheets. As shown in the Fig. 3a, NG flakes show (002) and (004)
diffraction peaks at 2h = 30.94 and 64.56 (Co Ka source),
