a significantly more important EP than TR with 215 kg PO4-eq.The relative value associated to the latter is about 180 kg PO4-eq.Notably, the contribution of PG to both systems is different. In fact,it is equal to 83 for CR and just 64 kg PO4-eq in the case of TR.
3.1.1.2. The global warming potential (GWP). Emissions of greenhouse gases are neatly more important in the case of CR with 17 449 kg of carbon dioxide equivalent compared to TR where just 11 087 kg CO2-eq are emitted (Fig. 5). The noticed difference is obviously induced by the electricity consumption of CR which is five times more CO2 equivalent emitting (4000 kg CO2-eq) than TR (800 kg CO2-eq). Interestingly, PG and diet are the main sources of gaseous emissions contributing to the GWP. They are followed by electricity, hatchery, diesel and transportation, respectively. For all these processes, the emissions associated with CR are slightly more important than those related to the TR one.
