ho's house was deserted. I ran out into the fields where i thought his family would be working. I was right-they were working, and talking and laughing at the same time. They certainly didn't seem to be expecting bad news. This made me worry. I remembered Uncle ke's face when his baby's life was in danger. He had cried on my father's shoulder like a child. Afterwards he had spent so many lonely days out in the fields. He's done so much digging and plowing, just to forget it all.
