A method based on TEC is suggested on thermal management of
high-power LEDs. The TEC plays an important part in the thermal
management, and effectively reduces the thermal resistance of
high-power LEDs. In given experiment, the junction temperature
of high-power LEDs with TEC decreases by 17 C than that of the
condition without TEC. The results demonstrate that it is feasible
and has good performance to cool high-power LEDs
