Tian, Nakamura, and Kayahara (2004) found that 6-O-feruloylsucrose
and 6-O-sinapoylsucrose were the major soluble
phenolic compounds, in brown rice and there were significant decreases
during germination for 24 h, whilst the levels of free ferulic
acid and sinapinic acid increased significantly.
