The results of Multiple Regression of
processor’s net return on resource inputs in Ondo
state is presented in Table 3. Double log
production function is selected as the lead
equation based on (i) the magnitude of R2 (ii) the
significance of F-value (iii) the t-values and (iv)
the appropriateness of the signs of the regression
coefficients. The F-ratio value is statistically
significant at 1% which implies that the model is
adequate for use in further analysis. The coefficient of determination (R2) was 68%. This
implies that the independent variables explain at
least 68% of the variability in processors net returns
in the study area.
