3. In this revised CS 2008, mathematical activities were emphasize and stated in the content sections in each grade. In other words, teachers were explicitly asked to provide opportunities for students to engage in mathematical activities autonomously and on their own initiative. Those mathematical activities as content became central to lower secondary school mathematics and were conceptualized in three aspects. In each of these aspects, the qualitative progress in mathematical activities was described as students advanced through their school years (Table 2). Furthermore, 3 consideration points for the teaching of mathematical activities were suggested (Table 3).
