A test workbench is built in order to measure the influence of
different flow turbulence configurations on the output thermoelectric
power of the TEG. It channels hot and cold water into the
TEG for fixed thermal input conditions over a range of fluid flow
rates and for varying flow impeding inserts, creating a thermal
dipole with different characteristics over the layers of thermoelectric
modules (TEMs). The test stand consists of a thermoelectric
generator, a cold water circuit, a hot water circuit and an electrical
circuit as shown schematically
