METHODS
Sample
In order to investigate the effects of employee empowerment on
achievement motivation of employees and their contextual
performance, a research has been made on employees in private
and public banks in Ankara. 280 questionnaires were distributed.
230 of these questionnaires were returned and 213 of these were
used in the analyses. Information regarding the demographic
features of the paradigm (Table 1) is that. 49.2% of the employees
belong to 31 to 40 years age group; while 54.9% are women, and
45.5% of them are graduates.
