Phra Tha Kradan Kru Wat Phra Si Mahathat was found in year 1913 (2456 B.E.) Suphanburi province. Kru Wat Phra Si Mahathat is one of the most famous Chedi (pagodas) in Thailand which was built in the U-Thong period. This amulet is one of the Phra Benjapakee amulets (Top 5 Nur Chin Metal amulets). Phra Tha Kradan which is one of the Phra Yodkhunphon amulets were both found in this Chedi.
Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat temple is at least 600 years old and was once in the heart of the ancient town of Suphannaphum. The main stupa or Chedi also once housed relics of the Lord Buddha, but it was sacked by raiders and left in ruins. Raiders targeted votive tablets, created in the Supha Buri style, which had been stored there. The tablets are among the top five most sought-after series in the Kingdom. The Chedi or stupa was built from bricks without the use of cement. Thus, archaeologists have deduced that the structure dates from the pre-Ayutthaya period, from the U-Thong Suphannaphum Era.
"Phra Kru" is the antique which sacred things or amulet that was buried in various sanctuary such as stupa in the temple, under the church, chapel though under ground or under trees and in the home of ancient amulet collectors. Which the important reason in buried(someone called "hide") in the ancient time was kept for legacy to their progeny and young generation. In summary was kept by buried that make the amulets still in a good condition, not lost and prevent from destroyed.
In generally, Phra Kru will had more age than 100 years. Some mold of Phra Kru
was more than 1000 years. And, all various of Phra Kru that was found will make
