The Inventory Controller will be an essential position in implementing, and monitoring procedures to ensure that the proper inventory is in all warehouse locations. The position will assist the development and implementation of a formal program to audit all areas related to inventory movement for integrity and accuracy. This individual will lead the cycle counts in a program to identify and eliminate any problems found in daily cycle counts. Will assist branch warehouses with their inventory control procedures.
Main Accountabilities
Coordinate and support with warehouse / sub-contracts for all activities of inventory movement control & accomplish with an accuracy inventory management.
Control cycle count activity and report KPI processes daily
Perform inventory count & inventory reconciliation weekly, monthly and quarterly.
Prepare inventory management reports/performance output reports
Undertake the day-to-day operation and maintain the warehouse location and numbering system.
Responsible for production control, importing control, production output recording, incoming cargo monitoring and receivable & payable control
Coordinate with warehouse/sub-contract for any inventory movement reports
Responsibility for warehouse safety, cleanliness and tidiness.
Qualifications and Skills
SAP knowledge or a modern Warehouse Management system
4-10 years’ experience and has a strong background in the same field
Male / Female, age not over 45 years old.
Bachelor Degree in any field
Sound Knowledge in inventory management. Warehouse processes and WMS systems
Working Experience in warehouse management/inventory control would be an advantage
Good in command in written and spoken English
