The payment of the resale levy is based on the prevailing rules, policies and procedures as determined by HDB from time to time. The recipient of the Half-Housing Grant and his spouse/fiancée will be liable for their respective resale levy.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BY CHILD/PARENTS WHO FORM SC/SC HOUSEHOLD
I/We, the Singapore Citizen child/parent(s) named in Section I(B), whose inclusion in the application for the purchase of the Flat allow the family to be classified as an SC/SC Household acknowledge that I/we must remain as the co-owner(s) or occupier(s) of the Flat for a minimum 5-year period commencing from the effective date of sale of the Flat.
SECTION VI
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT BY SC/SPR HOUSEHOLD
We acknowledge and accept that as our family only comprises a Singapore Citizen and a Singapore Permanent Resident, i.e. an SC/SPR Household, the amount of the CPF Housing Grant for Family will be reduced by $10,000.
To enjoy the full amount of the CPF Housing Grant for Family, we may apply for the Citizen Top-Up if we meet these requirements: (a) One of the following conditions is met: - the birth of a Singapore Citizen child to the applicant and spouse listed in the application for the purchase of the Flat, or - the applicant’s spouse or one of his children or parents listed in the application for the purchase of the said flat has obtained Singapore Citizenship. (b) The application for the Citizen Top-Up is submitted to the respective HDB Branch within 6 months from the date the applicant’s spouse or one of his children or parents obtains Singapore citizenship or the date birth of a Singapore Citizen child, whichever is earlier. (c) We will no longer be eligible to apply for the Citizen Top-Up once the Flat has been sold.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE CPF HOUSING GRANT FOR FAMILY, HALF-HOUSING GRANT AND ADDITIONAL CPF HOUSING GRANT
NOTE :The terms and conditions of the CPF Housing Grant for Family, Half-Housing Grant and Additional CPF Housing Grant [“Terms and Conditions of the Grant”] stipulated hereunder shall be in addition to HDB’s Terms and Conditions of Sale/Purchase of an HDB Resale Flat.
APPLICATION FOR GRANT
1. The CPF Housing Grant for Family, Half-Housing Grant and Additional CPF Housing Grant, where applicable, will be given only once to eligible Singapore Citizen applicants to be used to pay for the purchase of a 2-room or bigger HDB resale flat [“the said flat”] with a remaining lease of at least 30 years at the date of application for the sale/purchase of the said flat in the open market. The reference to “date of application for the sale/purchase” shall mean the date when HDB first receives the complete resale application from BOTH sellers and buyers.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR CPF HOUSING GRANT FOR FAMILY
2. The applicant for the CPF Housing Grant for Family and all family members listed in the application must satisfy all the prevailing eligibility conditions for buying a flat direct from the HDB as follows:
(a) He must be a first-timer. A first-timer applicant is one where the applicant, co-applicant and other essential family members listed in the application for purchase of the said flat:- (i) are currently not the owner(s) of a flat bought direct from the HDB; (ii) have never sold or transferred at market value a flat bought direct from the HDB; (iii) have never been a recipient of any CPF Housing Grant for the purchase of an HDB resale flat or a Design, Build and Sell Scheme flat or an Executive Condominium; or (iv) have not enjoyed other forms of housing subsidy, such as enjoyed SERS benefits or privatisation of HUDC estate, or purchased an HDB flat under the Sale of Flats to Sitting Tenants Scheme.
(b) He, his co-applicant and all family members listed in the application:- (i) do not own or have an interest/estate in any other flat, house, building or land*; or
