Honestly, since this is a wide-spread defect, I guess Apple would never admit it. All the iPad airs I've seen so far have the same problem, yellow tint, book spine...yet many people don't notice these issues, though they did get the defective products. And it not quite noticeable to me when I use mine in the daylight or bright lights(say, like in Bestbuy store). If Also I think some people don't use their iPads in a dark room very much, but they would find it in the future. Apple can't afford recalling all the iPad airs they sold, if they admitted this problem, people were to compare their iPads and more people would find the iPads they used to be fond of are defective, and ask for a replacement or even a refund. As I mentioned before, this is a massive problem, Apple can't put up with so many replacements or refunds. However, according to some previous posters, there really are some good or acceptable ones out there, so good luck. Wish you all could have a perfect screen next time you get it replaced.
