All images were rectified into the same coordinate system
(Moore, 2000) and Ground Control Points (GCPs) obtained from the
newest satellite image (2014), and information presented in the
coordinate system UTM zone 18. As the topography is flat, a polynomial
transformation was applied in the registration process
(Chuvieco, 2000). The number of GCPs used in each image/photo
ranged from 10 to 15, and their position located in miscellaneous
places along each image (Thieler and Danforth, 1994).
