Air Pollution and Climate Change
I do not know whether the first human beings who choked and coughed when they lit fire inside
their cave thought of the implications of air pollution for the future of life on the Earth. But I know
everybody today is concerned about it. I know every smoking chimney has a role in choking the life
on the Earth. I know we are all guilty in one way or another. I know it is worth assessing and
measuring the contribution of each of us towards this burning problem. However, I do not know how
to proceed with such a research; but I believe in due course I might get some ideas. For the time
being, I turn to studying occupational health hazards.
