A: I have a store; I opened it last year in Central World. My shop name is “Emma”. I sell quality goods from overseas markets. Can you suggest any new products?
B: Yes; certainly, I have some great new bags at the moment.
A: Oh good, I want to sell hand luggage; do you have a catalogue?
B: Yes I have many catalogues even the brand names but they are pretty expensive – brands such as: Chanel, Prada, Coach , Marc Jacobs and Dior.
A:Wow sounds great; thank you. Can you recommend a bag which will be popular in Thailand – I only sell in the domestic market .
B: I suggest Chanel and Prada because these two brands have great new designs this year. I think the brand logo is also a great incentive for customers to buy the bags.
A:Oh, that's very interesting. These products sell well in the domestic market; I think I could sell a lot of them.
B:Really? I am not sure; these bags cost a lot of money and the bag market is very competitive.
A: I agree but they are well made bags and have a multinational brand name which offers high quality; they are certainly upmarket brands.
B: yes they are great, but it is a bit of a niche market; rich people who want luxury products are your target market.
A: Yes, I think you are right. Oh by the way, I saw the latest orange Prada clutch bag in “fashion weekly” magazine – say, do you have the specifications on that bag?
B: Yes I do. It is a beautiful bag and you can choose the colour from a range of colours and it also has other features too.
